Retina Consultants of America is identifying and evaluating candidates for the position of Revenue Cycle System Implementation Specialist. This position will report to the Revenue Cycle System Implementation Manager. The Revenue Cycle System Implementation Specialist role is a highly visible and challenging role that will help execute the vision of the company’s long-term and short-term strategy and become an integral member of a dynamic and experienced operational team., The Revenue Cycle System Implementation Specialist is responsible for assisting with RCM initiatives simultaneously across multiple practices within the platform. They will collaborate with key stakeholders, practice RCM leaders, and other departments within the company to ensure that all key project milestones and timelines are achieved. The Revenue Cycle System Implementation Specialist role requires strong expertise in physician revenue cycle management to lead initiatives and drive performance improvement in key areas. A successful Revenue Cycle System Implementation Specialist should be detail-oriented, accurate, accountable, balanced, with sound business judgment, and aligned with company objectives., * Conduct assessments of practice workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization in PM/EHR systems
- Assists with the implementation and training of Nextech PM and EMR systems
- Assist with the implementation of new workflows/processes across the enterprise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and customization of new systems to meet the specific needs of the practice
- Provide data analysis and reporting to track and evaluate the impact of new systems/workflows
- Provide revenue cycle management expertise for adoption of enterprise-wide initiatives and support acceleration of revenue uplift
- Implement continuous improvements for policies, procedures, and processes to align with RCA “best practices”
- Maintain expertise in retina-specific coding and billing
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with established policies and procedures including government, insurance, and third-party payer regulations
- Maintain relationships and oversee projects with practice RCM staff, outsourced RCM vendors and manufacturers
- Any other project as determined by the Director of Operations
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, * Ophthalmology/Retina billing experience
- Knowledgeable in provider credentialing processes
- Ability to direct and lead multiple projects concurrently
- Knowledgeable in defining approach and resource requirements for projects
- Strong organizational, customer service, interpersonal, facilitation, communication, and time management skills
- Outstanding poise in a fast-paced business environment
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Flexibility to travel as needed
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a physician revenue cycle position
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a training/implementation position
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Nextech Practice+ Practice Management software.
- Experience in providing cross functional support of a corporate team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
- Experience and ability to navigate RCM/data reporting tools (Tableau, Viewgol experience, a plus)
