Data Steward

The Data Steward will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality of our customer master data and maintaining appropriate documentation. The position will collaborate with IT on data governance policies and be responsible for protecting data through maintaining, cleansing, training, researching, and resolving data discrepancies and duplicates. This role will work closely with IT and other business and technical stakeholders across Midmark to manage our data assets, data lineage and data access, supporting sound data analysis. The Data Steward will provide business users with high-quality data that is accessible in a consistent manner., * Acts as a subject matter expert for customer master data

• Consults with IT to create and maintain data governance policies & procedures
• Ensures compliance and security of data by documenting data governance policies, standards, controls, and procedures, and trains accordingly
• Ensures customer†s product ownership records are maintained
• Maintains quality of data including removing duplicates
• Collaborates with product owners and functional areas to improve master data processes and requirementsCollaborates with IT to provide requirements and help implement technology solutions for Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality

SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Participates in projects related to and reliant on customer master data
• Analyzes and reports key performance indicators for customer data
• Establishes rapport with stakeholders of customer dataCreates/maintains customer data work instructions

Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bachelor†s degree in data analytics or business-related field and 1 + years†experience in a business environment, preferred.

COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Understanding of database structures
• Experience with integrated ERP System with customer master knowledge preferred
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems a plus
• Experience working with MDM technologies a plus
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate attention to detailAbility to apply and reinforce policies, standards, and best practices consistently
