Job description
- Provide technical support by resolving issues and answering queries related to computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems via telephone
- Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze technical problems using historical database records to determine root causes
- Escalate complex issues to product line specialists as needed to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain and update detailed records and tracking databases to ensure accurate documentation of support activities
- Monitor and identify recurring issues or patterns of problems, and notify management for further investigation or action
Requirements
Do you have experience in Video conferencing systems operation?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or equivlent
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology to include:
- Providing support to Emergency activities providing general situational awareness of the environment
- Performing routine and emergency actions and communications
- Performing routine and emergency actions critical to Operations center support including voice communication, message routing, and voice and video conference configuration and operation
- Scheduling and Operating VTC and POLYCOM Teleconferences
- Identifying when equipment and infrastructure is fully operational, partially operational, or not operational
- Performing minor troubleshooting
- Initiating the appropriate notification procedures to address outages / degradations per relevant checklists, SOPs that specify these procedures including submitting trouble tickets
