Job description

  • Implement Data Governance frameworks, standards and policies.
  • Embed data ownership, stewardship and accountability.
  • Drive Data Quality across data stores, products and lakehouse environments.
  • Embed metadata, cataloguing, definitions and lineage.
  • Ensure governance controls are built into data platforms, pipelines and architecture.
  • Assess governance maturity and drive improvement.
  • Promote governance adoption and data literacy across business and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Implementing Data Governance in large, complex organisations.
  • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, pipelines and lakehouse architectures.
  • Data Quality, metadata, lineage, cataloguing and data discovery.
  • Data ownership and stewardship frameworks.
  • Embedding governance controls across the data lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
  • Influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change.
