Job description
The Senior Test Specialist will lead complex testing activities while remaining hands-on in test design, execution, defect analysis, and release validation. The role will provide deep coverage across Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, the Salesforce Clean Energy Module, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, integrations, data migration, security, and end-to-end utility customer processes. This individual will mentor other testers, coordinate cross-system test scenarios, identify quality risks, and communicate practical recommendations to onshore stakeholders and delivery leadership., 1. Lead test analysis and execution for complex Salesforce workstreams while remaining hands-on in scenario design, testing, defect investigation, and release validation.
- Define and review coverage for Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, the Salesforce Clean Energy Module, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, integrations, migration, security, and utility customer journeys.
- Coordinate end-to-end scenarios across Salesforce, SAP BTP, customer APIs, data platforms, and downstream enterprise systems.
- Review requirements and acceptance criteria for testability, identify gaps and dependencies, and guide test-data and environment readiness.
- Lead defect triage and retest planning, communicate business impact and quality risk, and support evidence-based release decisions.
- Mentor testers, improve test assets and standards, and coordinate effectively across onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Support SIT, regression, integration testing, data migration validation, UAT preparation, cutover rehearsal, production validation, and hypercare.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant enterprise delivery experience, including senior-level ownership of complex workstreams, mentoring, and delivery quality.
- Senior hands-on QA experience on complex Salesforce, CRM, customer information system, or enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong hands-on testing experience with Salesforce OmniStudio and OmniScript, including guided flows, validations, integration behavior, exceptions, and end-to-end outcomes.
- Experience leading complex testing across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, integrations, APIs, data migration, security, and end-to-end business processes.
- Ability to lead test design, mentor team members, coordinate distributed delivery, investigate defects, and communicate release risk clearly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including direct interaction with onshore stakeholders and clear explanation of technical and business impacts.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments with cross-functional onshore and offshore teams.
- Experience using enterprise-approved AI-assisted tools where appropriate, with independent validation of outputs., 1. Experience testing Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud in an enterprise implementation.
- Experience testing the Salesforce Clean Energy Module or comparable clean-energy program workflows.
- Utility customer information system or regulated-industry testing experience; API testing, test automation, data validation, performance testing, or enterprise test-management experience is also valued.
- Salesforce, ISTQB, Agile, QA, or cloud certifications; experience supporting cutover governance, hypercare, production validation, and operational readiness is also valued.
