Workday Technical Applications Leader

Day-to-Day:

Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for the Workday platform

Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and support of Workday integrations

Oversee Workday reporting, report administration, dashboards, and analytics solutions

Manage and optimize Workday Prism datasets and reporting capabilities

Design and support Discovery Boards and Worksheets

Lead Workday Extend development and custom application initiatives

Collaborate with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Research, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements

Design scalable technical solutions that maximize Workday functionality

Monitor system performance, stability, and security

Troubleshoot and resolve Workday technical issues

Manage third-party integration vendors and external consulting partners

Stay current with Workday releases and best practices

Lead and mentor Workday technical analysts and developers

Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team

Act as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders

Ensure technical documentation and testing standards are maintained

Drive and enforce application governance and change control processes

Partner with other Workday application leaders on overall platform management

Must-Haves:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

5+ years of Workday application experience

Experience leading Workday technical teams (integration developers, report writers, technical analysts)

Strong Workday Integrations experience

Advanced Workday Reporting and Report Administration experience

Experience with Workday Prism Analytics

Experience with Discovery Boards and Worksheets

Experience with Workday Extend

Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise Workday solutions

Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions

Experience supporting and governing enterprise Workday environments

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience partnering with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Research, and IT teams

Leadership and mentorship experience

Experience managing technical documentation and testing artifacts

Experience with change control and governance processes

Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations

Strong troubleshooting, system stability, performance, and security experience Plusses:
