Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant

Our client is an established digital transformation consultancy and Microsoft Partner, with a strong presence across Data & AI, Cloud, Business Applications, and Cyber Security. They work with enterprise and public sector clients on complex ERP and finance transformation projects. As part of continued growth within their Business Applications practice, they’re looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant to join their team, working across Finance & Operations (F&O) or Business Central (BC) engagements depending on background., o Lead and support the delivery of Dynamics 365 Finance implementations, from requirements gathering through to go-live and post-implementation support o Configure and customise core finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management) o Work closely with clients to translate business requirements into functional finance solutions o Support integration of third-party ISV solutions where relevant (e.g. Continia, Dynaway) o Produce functional design documents, test plans, and training materials o Work alongside technical consultants, project managers, and solutions architects to ensure successful project delivery o Provide guidance to clients on finance best practice within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem

o Several years’ experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Consultant, with strong knowledge of core finance modules o Alternatively, strong Dynamics 365 Business Central experience with exposure to ISV solutions such as Continia or Dynaway would be considered o Solid understanding of finance processes and how they map to D365 functionality o Experience working across the full project lifecycle, from discovery through to support o Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with finance stakeholders o Consulting background (in-house or partner-side) preferred Desirable Skills o Solutions Architect-level experience across Finance & Supply Chain Management (FSCM) o Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance o Experience with Power Platform or wider Microsoft ecosystem o Public sector or regulated industry project experience Ready to find out more?
