Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a Product Support Specialist to work with the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) Program Office supporting Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual (JMEM) products., + Provide technical and data support to the JTCG/ME Capabilities and Standards (C&S) Integrated Product Team (IPT), including maintaining and updating technical databases and repositories to support the integration of approved data

  • Support data requests by reviewing requirements, coordinating the collection and approval of information, and distributing approved data to authorized users.
  • Coordinate with government personnel, technical teams, external data and model suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support program requirements.
  • Maintain and update product documentation, graphics, help files, technical publications, and other program materials.
  • Support the publication and distribution of approved and maintain associated distribution records and accounts.
  • Maintain historical archives and master copies of technical handbooks and other JTCG/ME materials to support future revisions and modifications.
  • Prepare and maintain records of archived program materials and coordinate disposition activities with the Government.
  • Support technical meetings and working groups through virtual participation and approved CONUS travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, Information Technology, Information Systems or Business Systems and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In lieu of degree, 5 years of relevant experience
  • SECRET Security Clearance required with the ability to obtain TOP SECRET
  • Experience working with relational databases and database management systems
  • Basic programming or scripting experience, with the ability to make minor code modifications, troubleshoot existing functionality, and support software enhancements.
  • Ability to understand existing software code and work with developers or technical teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Must be able to work independently, be detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, among a variety of audiences
  • Experience working with military systems and databases.
