Job description

Role Description NMS Capital Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, Information Technology to lead the organization’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and information technology operations in a fully remote environment. The Vice President, Information Technology will be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, overseeing the development and operation of core IT systems, and supporting a secure, reliable, and scalable technology environment. This role will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate technology needs, establish priorities, and drive the successful execution of strategic IT initiatives. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity coordination, systems performance, and technology-related projects. The role will also involve managing technology resources, supporting organizational growth, establishing effective IT processes, and ensuring that technology operations are aligned with business requirements and operational priorities. The successful candidate will provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding IT operations, infrastructure performance, cybersecurity posture, and strategic technology initiatives. This position requires a collaborative leader with strong judgment, communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment. Responsibilities Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and long-term priorities. Oversee day-to-day information technology operations, infrastructure, systems, and technology services. Lead the planning and execution of strategic technology initiatives and IT projects. Evaluate technology requirements and recommend practical, scalable solutions. Establish and improve IT processes, policies, and operational procedures. Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business goals. Monitor infrastructure performance, systems reliability, and overall IT operational effectiveness. Support cybersecurity initiatives and maintain awareness of the organization’s cybersecurity posture. Manage, mentor, and develop technology teams and resources as the organization grows. Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding IT operations, infrastructure performance, cybersecurity posture, and strategic technology initiatives. Identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement within the technology environment. Promote a collaborative, accountable, and service-oriented technology culture. Qualifications Proven experience in information technology leadership, technology operations, or a related executive-level role. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing technology strategies aligned with business objectives., Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, enterprise technology, and technology

Requirements

Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and organizational security practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and technical teams. Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
