Job description

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering to join our Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh US., * The Workplace Technology Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting endpoint and desktop management automation solutions across the enterprise. This role focuses on software automation, Group Policy management, browser configuration management, and login script administration to improve operational efficiency, security, and end-user experience.

  • Build and maintain endpoint management solutions for software installation, upgrades, and removals.
  • Design and maintain automation solutions for software deployment, patching, and configuration management.
  • Administer and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for enterprise desktop and server environments.
  • Manage enterprise browser configurations, policies, extensions, and compliance settings.
  • Develop, test, and maintain login scripts that map drives, configure environment settings, and support user onboarding needs.
  • Analyze incidents related to desktop policies, browser performance, and software delivery.
  • Understanding of registry management, user profiles, and Windows logon processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure solutions are reliable and scalable.
  • Experience with software deployment lifecycle and operational support.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint management, policy conflicts, software packaging, and deployment issues.
  • Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to enforce standards and controls.
  • Document operational procedures, configurations, standards, and automation runbooks.
  • Support change management, release activities, and production issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through scripting and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, desktop engineering, or infrastructure automation.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting tools such as PowerShell, VBScript, or batch scripting.
  • Group Policy administration
  • Software packaging and deployment tools
  • Browser policy management for Chrome, Edge, and/or Firefox
  • Login script creation and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Windows enterprise environments and Active Directory.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Intune, MECM/SCCM, or similar endpoint management platforms.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity controls and endpoint hardening.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale change and release processes.
  • Knowledge of identity/access integrations and user profile management.
