Job description
As a System Reliability Engineer you will enable development of robotic solutions optimized for availability, life cycle cost and performance.

Provide Design for Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability guidance to new product and solutions introduction teams
-
Develop reliability models for complex electro-mechanical systems
-
Develop RAM Models for Amazon products and systems

Develop Failure Modes Effects Analysis
-
Develop reliability test plans and data collection strategies
-
Assess vendor reliability data
-
Advocate for the customer during the design process on failure modes, fault diagnostics and impacts to product supportability
-
Design tool kits, identify custom tools and other support mechanisms for Robotic Systems
-
Develop lifecycle support strategies and mechanisms for new products
-
Ensure supportability requirements and concerns are addressed for field launch
-
Work to identify opportunities for improved maintenance strategies
-
Develop tools, and assist with processes to expand diagnostic capabilities improve ergonomics, and reduce troubleshooting time
Requirements
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
-
Experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems
Preferred Qualifications
-
ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer or equivalent
-
Advanced degree in Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another applicable discipline.

Experience in automotive, defense, or industrial product development

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
