Job description
The Integration Designer - SAP BTP supports detailed integration analysis and design across SAP BTP, SAP and non-SAP applications, Salesforce, data platforms, legacy systems, and downstream operations. The role works within established architecture and produces clear implementation-ready specifications., 1. Support interface discovery, current-state analysis, and detailed design for integrations involving SAP BTP and connected platforms.
- Create or contribute to integration designs using SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, adapters, and connectors.
- Design interfaces connecting Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, the Clean Energy Module, Data Cloud, SAP applications, and customer systems.
- Document interface specifications, mappings, sequence flows, message structures, transformation rules, routing, validation, and error handling.
- Support REST, asynchronous, event-driven, batch, file-based, and near-real-time integration designs.
- Document authentication, certificates, privacy, logging, monitoring, reconciliation, and operational support requirements.
- Analyze legacy interfaces, identify gaps and dependencies, and support reduction of redundant logic.
- Clarify designs with developers, support testing and defects, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Use client-provided or client-approved AI acceleration tools when appropriate for analysis, requirements, design, development, documentation, testing, and defect resolution. Independently validate all AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, maintainability, privacy, and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise integration experience, including practical design work using SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or comparable middleware.
- Experience creating interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, sequence flows, transformation rules, and error-handling requirements.
- Working knowledge of Cloud Integration, API Management, events or messaging, adapters, security, and monitoring.
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications, including Salesforce or comparable CRM and customer platforms.
- Ability to translate requirements and architecture guidance into clear, testable, implementation-ready designs.
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills., 1. Experience integrating Salesforce solutions involving OmniStudio or OmniScript; Energy & Utilities Cloud and Clean Energy Module exposure are additional advantages.
- Utility, CIS, billing, regulated-industry, or clean-energy program integration experience.
- SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Salesforce, API, cloud credentials, or experience with S/4HANA, ECC, IS-U, CRM, or Ariba.
