Job description
Lead architecture, implementation, and operations of secure, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Architect and deliver Google Cloud Platform workloads using Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQLSpanner, and PubSub.
Build Infrastructure as Code and CICD using Terraform, Cloud Build, and Git, with environment promotion and guardrails.
Implement identity and security controls, including IAM, service accounts, Secrets Manager, KMS, organization policies, and VPC Service Controls.
Design scalable networking using VPCs, subnets, NAT, load balancers, Private Service Connect, and interconnectivity.
Establish observability and SRE practices, including Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Error Reporting, SLIsSLOs, alerting, and runbooks.
Develop data platforms and pipelines using BigQuery, DataflowBeam, ComposerAirflow, and Dataproc for batch and streaming workloads.
Automate operations using Cloud FunctionsCloud Run and APIs drive reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
Lead incident response and postmortems mentor engineers and document standards.
Requirements
8+ years in cloudplatformdata engineering, including 4+ years hands-on with Google Cloud Platform.
Strong experience with containers and Kubernetes fundamentals., » GKE experience preferred.
