Job description
Our client in the Tempe area is seeking a talented UX Designer for a contract engagement. This individual will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and effective user experiences., * Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, stakeholder meetings, and usability testing.
- Create user personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define user experience requirements.
- Design intuitive digital experiences that align with business goals and user needs.
- Perform usability testing and analyze results to improve product performance and user satisfaction.
- Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations.
- Ensure consistency across products by adhering to established design systems and UX best practices.
- Work with development teams throughout implementation to ensure design integrity and usability standards are maintained.
- Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Stay current on emerging UX trends, accessibility standards, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in UX Design, Product Design, or related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX design projects.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Ability to communicate design decisions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments., * Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
- Background supporting SaaS, e-commerce, healthcare, financial services, or enterprise applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or related field. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
