Job description
This position will be the primary technical site contact for the New Market Campus and support the Tumwater technology systems while working as a team member with the rest of the district technology staff.
- Operate, troubleshoot and repair existing Windows computing systems including desktop, laptops and peripherals.
- Support district One to One Chromebook program including troubleshooting and setup of Chromebooks
- Support and maintain classroom audio and video systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose iPads issues
- Provide initial estimates and plan for own work assignment
- Implement and test assigned portions of the system
- Coordinate with Director of Technology in developing the district’s data and communications standards and procedures, and make sure own work fits in the overall system properly
- Communicate and refer all administrative matters to the Director of Technology
- Maintain current knowledge of all technologies relating to the above systems
- Provide introductory and intermediate level training classes to users as necessary
- Serve as a member and leader of the district technology team and perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position as assigned
- Assume additional responsibilities as required

Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in computer science with at least one year of computer-related experience or appropriate education and experience as determined by the district. Knowledge and ability to analyze and solve complex computing, networking, and technology problems., * Detailed knowledge of software and hardware tools used to maintain and repair PC, servers, printers and related cabling
- Working knowledge of operating system software used in classrooms, including Windows, Chrome OS and IOS
- Working knowledge of Cisco network switches and Meraki wireless access points used throughout the district
- Knowledge and ability to teach software skills and configurations
- Able to communicate and work effectively with data and phone users
- Able to plan, coordinate and work with administrators, teachers, and other staff and departments and contractor personnel, as well as supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner; work in a team environment
- Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural, developmental religious and ethnic diversity or students and community.
- Able to lift and install equipment; access and work in tight spaces, tunnels and attics; sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Position requires prolonged exposure to visual display terminal
