Solution Engineer SAP QM

Your next career step As a Solution Engineer SAP QM, you will play a central role in shaping and optimising Budenheim’s SAP landscape. In this hybrid role, you will be based in Barcelona with three days a week on site. You will ensure stable operations, drive continuous improvements, manage change, and contribute to projects that connect quality processes with business and IT seamlessly. Your Tasks Operations - Design, configure, and implement SAP QM solutions in line with best practices throughout the application lifecycle - Customise SAP QM functionalities and develop enhancements to optimise quality management processes - Ensure seamless integration of SAP QM with other business systems and applications, including SAP EWM and LabWare LIMS - Support the stability, performance, and continuous optimisation of the SAP QM landscape Change Management - Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, customisations, and project activities - Develop and execute test plans to validate SAP configurations and enhancements - Conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements Process Improvement - Propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the SAP landscape - Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications for SAP customisations and configurations - Drive continuous improvement of quality management processes through scalable SAP solutions Project Management - Participate in projects focused on building and integrating processes within the SAP environment - Collaborate with project teams to ensure SAP solutions are aligned with project goals and timelines Your Profile - A university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience - Extensive hands-on experience with SAP QM within SAP ERP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments - Strong understanding of quality management processes - Experience with SAP QM integration to SAP EWM and LabWare LIMS - Practical programming experience in ABAP and ABAP Objects (ABAP-OO) - Ability to connect technical expertise with business requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions - English fluency is essential; additional languages are an advantage - A collaborative mindset and readiness to thrive in an international, hybrid work environment We Offer In our agile Business Solutions team, your ideas matter.
