Requirements

  • Languages and Frameworks - You have worked in Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy. You are familiar with TypeScript and frontend libraries like React and are able to build intuitive interfaces for complex workflows\n
  • AI and LLMs - You have practical experience with prompt engineering and agentic frameworks (e.g. Google Agent Development Kit, LangGraph). You may even have production experience with LLM observability and evaluation\n
  • Infra and DevOps -You know your way around cloud deployment patterns (e.g. to GCP or AWS). You might have written some Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD workflows\n
  • Most importantly, you are a fast learner who is eager to learn any technology required to solve the problem at hand\n
  • High Agency - You see a critical problem outside your immediate scope, like an infrastructure bottleneck or a customer friction point, and you fix it without being asked, exercising good judgment while doing so\n
  • Pragmatic & Fast - You value "good enough to ship" over "perfectly engineered.” You use AI assistants (e.g. Cursor, Copilot, Gemini) to automate the mundane so you can focus on the highest-value tasks\n
  • Nice-to-Have’s -German Language Proficiency - While English is our primary language, German fluency is a strong plus to help us better support our core industrial customer base\n

Benefits & conditions

Introduction

\n

build for those who build \n

opus AI agents are revolutionizing processes for industrial supply chain teams. Our mission is to strengthen Europe’s industrial backbone by ensuring material supply and making operational processes future-proof. Our AI agents optimize how companies plan, negotiate, and manage their procure-to-pay processes - helping them automate control over their single largest cost driver and remain competitive in the long term. Leading companies already trust opus AI agents and are transforming their processes into a competitive advantage with us \n

We are in production with real customers- scaling rapidly and shipping new features as we speak \n

We secured €5M+ in funding from leading early-stage investors and seasoned industry experts \n

We are a team of entrepreneurs, industry experts, and engineers driven by a joint ambition - to safeguard the economic foundation of Europe for future generations \n

Your tasks

Tasks

\n

Your impact \n \n

  • Own the 0-to-1 Journey - Architect and ship new features from first principles. You will be the primary builder of systems where no blueprint exists, ensuring every line of code balances immediate impact with long-term scalability\n
  • Build Effective Agentic Solutions - Design agents that utilize LLMs for reasoning, document extraction, and the end-to-end automation of complex enterprise processes. You will implement AI best practices to ensure our autonomous agents act with precision, security and industrial-grade reliability\n
  • Architect Enterprise-Ready Systems - You will design mission-critical, secure, and resilient AI solutions. Your work will be held to the highest reliability standards to ensure data integrity and security for global industrial leaders\n
  • Execute Across the Stack - You will take full ownership of the user journey. Whether it’s refining the React frontend, architecting complex backend logic, or managing cloud infrastructure, you do whatever it takes to ship high-quality, end-to-end features\n
