Job description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer/Data Analyst with strong Microsoft Azure expertise and active SC Clearance to join a high-profile programme delivering critical data capabilities within a secure environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data initiatives, helping design, build and optimise modern Azure-based data solutions while providing actionable insights to key stakeholders. Key Details, * Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines within Microsoft Azure.

  • Develop and optimise data models, ETL/ELT processes and reporting solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Analyse complex datasets and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, governance and best practices across the data estate.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams within an Agile delivery environment.

Requirements

  • Active SC Clearance (current and transferable).
  • Strong experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or hybrid data professional.
  • Proven expertise across the Microsoft Azure Data Platform, including:
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Azure Data Lake
  • Azure SQL
  • Power BI
  • Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining cloud-based data solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within Government, Defence or other secure environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working with modern data architecture and governance frameworks.

Benefits & conditions

Contract Inside IR35 Up to £570 per day 6 months September Start, Up to £570 per day Inside IR35 6-Month Contract South West London Hybrid Working.
