Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer/Data Analyst with strong Microsoft Azure expertise and active SC Clearance to join a high-profile programme delivering critical data capabilities within a secure environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data initiatives, helping design, build and optimise modern Azure-based data solutions while providing actionable insights to key stakeholders. Key Details, * Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines within Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and optimise data models, ETL/ELT processes and reporting solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Analyse complex datasets and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, governance and best practices across the data estate.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams within an Agile delivery environment.
Requirements
- Active SC Clearance (current and transferable).
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or hybrid data professional.
- Proven expertise across the Microsoft Azure Data Platform, including:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure SQL
- Power BI
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
- Experience building and maintaining cloud-based data solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience within Government, Defence or other secure environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with modern data architecture and governance frameworks.
