Job description
We are recruiting for an experienced Performance Analyst with strong NHS / Healthcare data experience to support a high-profile healthcare programme. This role will play a key part in delivering performance insights, reporting and analytical support to drive operational and strategic decision-making.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional with a background in healthcare data, performance management and stakeholder engagement to work on impactful projects within a large public sector environment., * Produce, maintain and enhance performance dashboards and reporting packs.
- Analyse complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support performance monitoring against key operational and strategic objectives.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with operational, clinical and programme teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality and adherence to governance standards.
- Present findings and performance metrics to a range of stakeholders.
Requirements
- Security Requirements: Must have 5 years’ continuous UK residency and be eligible for BPSS clearance, * Proven experience working as a Performance Analyst, MI Analyst, Data Analyst or similar.
- Strong experience working with NHS, Healthcare or Public Health datasets.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience manipulating large datasets.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
- Strong understanding of KPI development, performance frameworks and trend analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Systems (ICS), NHS England or other healthcare organisations.
- Knowledge of NHS data standards, terminology and reporting requirements.
- Experience with statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Familiarity with healthcare performance measures and operational reporting.

- Have 5 years of continuous UK residency.
- Be eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.
- Be able to provide evidence of residency and employment history as part of the onboarding process.
