Job description

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong expertise of Information Assurance and Security Governance, including key information security principles, governance processes, and secure development practices. A thorough understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements is essential, with the ability to interpret and apply legal, policy, and contractual obligations affecting Information Systems. You will have proven experience in compliance monitoring, controls testing, and managing audit findings, alongside a solid knowledge of IT service management, operational controls, and lifecycle assurance. This ensures effective service governance and lifecycle management throughout the organisation. Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills are also required, with the ability to influence internal teams and third parties to meet governance, licensing, and security obligations, ensuring robust and compliant information systems. It would be beneficial if you have the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundation certificate or knowledge of ITIL, but this isn’t essential and can be taught whilst in post.
