Job description

  • Lead the architecture and design of the Microsoft Fabric data platform
  • Define patterns for Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, Semantic Models and Data Engineering
  • Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption patterns
  • Define enterprise conceptual, logical and physical data models
  • Establish metadata-driven architecture, data lineage and cataloguing standards
  • Define Master Data Management (MDM) principles
  • Develop enterprise data architecture standards and roadmaps
  • Design integration architectures using APIs, event-driven patterns and ETL/ELT
  • Embed data governance, security and data quality
  • Work across data engineering, analytics, architecture and business teams

Requirements

  • Strong Data / Enterprise Data Architecture background
  • Extensive Microsoft Fabric experience
  • Azure Data Platform
  • Lakehouse, Warehousing and Data Engineering
  • Enterprise data modelling
  • Metadata management, lineage and data catalogues
  • Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Data governance and data quality
  • APIs, ETL/ELT and integration patterns
  • SQL
  • Strong stakeholder management and architectural leadership
