Java Software Engineer

Collaborate with DevOps, DBA, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and PMO teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. Troubleshoot application issues and optimize application performance. Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 5 years of experience developing mission-critical, high-volume transactional applications in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. Extensive experience with Java application development. Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or related Java frameworks. Experience using Java IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse. Strong experience with Apache Maven. Extensive experience using Git for source control. Experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP web services. Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL. Experience with AWS services including SQS, SNS, Lambda, and related cloud components. Strong understanding of end-to-end software design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Experience working within Agile Scrum development environments. Strong application performance tuning and optimization skills. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong sense of ownership and accountability for resolving defects, blockers, and technical issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience within distributed retail industries such as automotive, hospitality, or banking. Experience working with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Experience building customer-centric applications and case management workflow solutions. Education: Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree
