Job description
Core4ce is seeking a skilled and mission-focused CNO Developer to join our team in Hanover, MD. In this role, you will support the development of mission-critical offensive cyber capabilities and contribute to advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) initiatives. You will work alongside a highly technical team to build next-generation solutions that support national security missions. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new hardware- or software-based Computer Network Operations (CNO) capabilities.
- Perform design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software applications and systems.
- Apply knowledge of networking and security concepts to support capability development.
- Communicate technical progress, project status, and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure software quality and adherence to development standards.

Requirements
- Must possess a current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- One of the following education/experience combinations:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of technical work experience
- Master’s degree and 2+ years of technical work experience
- High school diploma and 8+ years of technical work experience
- Experience programming in Python or C/C++.
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging.
- Must be willing and able to obtain an additional polygraph prior to start, if required.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, and socket-level programming.
- Experience developing CNO capabilities.

Experience with low-level system internals across one or more platforms, such as:
- Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices
- Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering.

Experience using Atlassian tools, including:
- JIRA, Confluence, Crucible
- Understanding of assembly language programming concepts.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and software testing best practices.
