Job description

Seeking a Senior Oracle/Exadata DBA with strong experience managing and optimizing Oracle databases on Exadata, Linux, and AWS environments. The candidate will support database design, performance tuning, high availability, replication, and application modernization across development, test, and production environments., * Manage Oracle databases on Exadata, Linux, and AWS.

Design and manage application schemas, tables, indexes, and database structures.
Perform database and Exadata performance tuning and SQL optimization.
Administer Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate replication.
Perform database installation, patching, upgrades, backup, and recovery.
Monitor and troubleshoot database, OS, and Exadata storage issues.
Use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM/Cloud Control) for monitoring and diagnostics.
Collaborate with application developers on database design and modernization.
Establish database standards, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

5+ years of Oracle Exadata architecture experience, including Smart Scan, HCC, storage cells, and InfiniBand.
5+ years of Oracle ASM and disk group management.
3+ years of Oracle installation, patching, and upgrades, including PSU/DBRU/Release Updates.
2+ years of database and Exadata storage performance tuning.
7+ years of Oracle database schema design, indexing, locking, and optimization.
7+ years troubleshooting Oracle database, Linux/OS, and Exadata issues.
2+ years with Oracle Enterprise Manager/OEM.
7+ years of strong SQL development and optimization experience.
