Automation Application Developer

Working closely with Business Analysts, SMEs, Project Managers and development teams, you will play a key role in delivering robust automation solutions using UiPath, C# .NET, and SQL technologies. You will be involved throughout the entire development life cycle, from solution design and build through to deployment, support and continuous improvement., * Design, develop, test and deploy end-to-end RPA solutions using UiPath.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to analyse and optimise business processes for automation.
• Produce and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs), technical specifications and process documentation.
• Develop reliable and scalable automation solutions using UiPath REFramework.
• Build supporting applications and utilities using C# .NET where automation alone does not meet business requirements.
• Develop SQL scripts and data solutions across SQL Server and Oracle environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment activities and post-production monitoring.
• Work closely with wider development teams to ensure seamless integration across enterprise platforms.
• Provide regular progress updates and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support and maintain existing automation processes and environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with UiPath RPA technologies.
• Experience working with both UiPath Cloud and standalone environments.
• Strong knowledge of UiPath Orchestrator, including assets, queues, triggers and deployments.
• Strong experience developing applications using C# .NET and SQL.
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex automation solutions.
• Experience developing unattended robots and enterprise-scale automations.
• Experience delivering the full automation life cycle, including design, development, testing and deployment.
• Knowledge of relational database design and SQL querying.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
• UiPath Advanced Certification (or equivalent UiPath qualifications).

Desirable Skills

• Financial services or banking industry experience.
• Experience with API automation.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices and Jira.
• WPF development experience.
• Exposure to UiPath Automation Cloud and Generative AI capabilities.
