Helpdesk Operator

Taking calls from an international chain of retail stores when they have maintenance issues and raising work orders on a bespoke CAFM system to the nominated contractors

Raising orders for works that have been logged via on online portal

Monitoring orders to completion including chasing contractors and keeping stores updated on progress

Dealing with client representatives such as Head office staff, Surveyors and Area Managers

Answering a high volume of e-mail queries from client and contractors

Chasing contractors for attendance dates/quotes

Receiving and uploading quotes, seeking approval and raising orders

Chasing planned maintenance visits, sending certificates to stores, ensuring stores are compliant

Receiving and validating contractor’s invoices, including challenging costs and raising queries.

• Excellent phone skills and customer service
• Experience of using Microsoft Excel Products including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Able to build relationships at various levels internally and externally
• Be able to work under pressure and prioritise workload according
• Able to work in a vibrant high performing team
• Experience of a maintenance or facilities management environment (Desirable)
