You are working with internal customers, aiding associates with computer software, hardware or system problems, answering questions and resolving problems via telephone, e-mail or in person. In addition, the Technical Support Specialist I will be hands-on, installing and modifying operating systems and software programs.The Desktop Support Engineer will be involved in:Configure, install and maintain local area network hardware, software and telecommunications services such as, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, and Internet service providers.Upgrade computer operating systems.Establish and maintain

network user environment, directories, and security.Create user accounts, support network users and shares.Maintain and control Hardware and Software for MS Office.Develop and communicate standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers and data.Communicate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems.Desktop Support Engineer Must have:Previous experience working in a small to medium data centerMinimum of 1 to 3 years of previous experience working within computer technology field Windows Server 2008 and 2012 and 2016Windows 7 and 10MS Office 2010, 2013, 365MCP, DCSE, A+ Certification PreferredKnowledge of Cisco Firewalls a plusHighly motivated self-starter with strong commitment and follow-throughStrong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skillsResults-oriented and resourceful, with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mileEffective team player and collaboratorProven ability to understand and convey analytic and technical conceptsMy client is based in London (The City)
