Job description
We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to support ongoing data center projects in the Atlanta, GA market. Candidates should have previous low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center experience and be comfortable working in an active data center environment. Responsibilities
- Install, route, dress, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling in a data center environment
- Perform structured cabling installation and support
- Install and work within racks, cabinets, ladder rack, cable tray, and other pathway systems
- Assist with rack-and-stack activities and installation of data center equipment
- Perform copper and fiber terminations as required
- Install and work with fiber assemblies, including LC and MPO/MTP connections
- Label cabling, equipment, racks, and pathways according to project standards
- Perform basic copper and fiber testing and troubleshooting
- Maintain proper cable management and workmanship standards
- Read and follow prints, floor plans, work packages, and installation instructions
- Follow all site-specific safety, security, and data center procedures

Requirements
- Previous low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center experience
- Experience working with copper and fiber optic cabling
- Familiarity with data center racks, cabinets, pathways, and cable management
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in an active data center environment
- Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform the physical requirements associated with low-voltage installation
- Reliable transportation
- Must comply with all customer background, security, and badging requirements

If you have previously worked for or supported a project at AWS, please provide that information during the initial screening process. Previous AWS access may require a name check and/or badge deactivation/reactivation before starting the project. Prior AWS experience or badging does not necessarily disqualify a candidate, but it must be identified prior to submission to avoid onboarding or start-date delays.
