Job description

We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to support ongoing data center projects in the Atlanta, GA market. Candidates should have previous low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center experience and be comfortable working in an active data center environment. Responsibilities

  • Install, route, dress, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling in a data center environment
  • Perform structured cabling installation and support
  • Install and work within racks, cabinets, ladder rack, cable tray, and other pathway systems
  • Assist with rack-and-stack activities and installation of data center equipment
  • Perform copper and fiber terminations as required
  • Install and work with fiber assemblies, including LC and MPO/MTP connections
  • Label cabling, equipment, racks, and pathways according to project standards
  • Perform basic copper and fiber testing and troubleshooting
  • Maintain proper cable management and workmanship standards
  • Read and follow prints, floor plans, work packages, and installation instructions
  • Follow all site-specific safety, security, and data center procedures

Requirements

  • Previous low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center experience
  • Experience working with copper and fiber optic cabling
  • Familiarity with data center racks, cabinets, pathways, and cable management
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in an active data center environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform the physical requirements associated with low-voltage installation
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must comply with all customer background, security, and badging requirements

If you have previously worked for or supported a project at AWS, please provide that information during the initial screening process. Prior AWS experience or badging does not necessarily disqualify a candidate, but it must be identified prior to submission to avoid onboarding or start-date delays.
