Job description
We are seeking a Senior .NET Core Programmer Analyst with 10+ years of .NET web application development experience to support enterprise applications for a Virginia transportation environment. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain high-quality applications and backend services using the .NET Core framework, C#, JavaScript, and modern web technologies., * Design, develop, and maintain applications and backend services using C# and .NET Core.
- Develop web applications using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React, Blazor, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Apply appropriate software design patterns to improve reusability and maintainability.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
- Analyze complex software requirements and develop high-quality software components.
- Troubleshoot application and process automation issues.
- Collaborate with business and system analysts to understand and implement requirements.
- Follow established programming and development best practices.
- Participate in Agile SDLC activities.
- Prepare technical documentation when required.
- Support automated build and software delivery processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of .NET web application development experience.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Strong JavaScript experience with one or more of jQuery, React, Angular, or Blazor.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- 10+ years of experience with automated builds using Microsoft Team Foundation.
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle/SQL Server databases.
- 7+ years of PL/SQL and Oracle Database experience.
- 7+ years of process automation and troubleshooting experience.
- 3+ years of Agile SDLC experience.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, tiered architecture, and software testing practices.
- Experience developing unit tests and integration tests.
- Ability to analyze complex software requirements and translate them into maintainable technical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with business and systems analysts to clarify requirements.
