Terraform Network Automation SME

This role requires a strong Terraform practitioner with deep expertise in network infrastructure automation, particularly across Cisco networking environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for enterprise networking components and will be comfortable working directly with customer stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where Terraform expertise is the primary requirement. Candidates with general automation experience but limited Terraform experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform. Automate provisioning and configuration of network infrastructure components. Implement and manage Terraform modules, state management, workflows, and deployment practices. Support automation initiatives across enterprise networking environments. Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand requirements and implement requested solutions. Translate networking requirements into scalable Terraform code. Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to automate operational tasks. Troubleshoot Terraform deployments and infrastructure-related issues. Participate in technical discussions regarding network automation strategies and implementation approaches. Provide technical expertise on Terraform capabilities and limitations within network environments. Required QualificationsTerraform Expertise (Required)

Terraform Network Automation SMEOverview We are seeking a highly experienced Terraform Network Automation SME to support a strategic infrastructure automation initiative for Client, Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments. Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and best practices. Experience developing reusable Terraform modules and automation frameworks. Experience managing Terraform state, providers, variables, and workflows. Ability to independently develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Terraform code. Networking Expertise (Required) Strong Cisco networking background. Experience with:

• Cisco Nexus (NX-OS)
• LAN/WAN technologies
• SD-WAN solutions
• BGP
• OSPF
• VXLAN EVPN

Strong understanding of enterprise network design and operations. Ability to automate networking components through Infrastructure as Code methodologies. Security & Infrastructure Technologies Experience working with: Palo Alto Firewalls VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) Infoblox NTP Active Directory integrations Professional Skills Strong customer-facing communication skills. Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight. Ability to work directly with technically demanding stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Comfortable working in dynamic environments where requirements may evolve. Ability to remain professional and effective under pressure. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience automating enterprise network environments using Terraform. Experience supporting large-scale network transformation initiatives.
