Requirements

  • IAT Level III certification (CASP+ preferred; Security+ accepted)\n
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field Equivalent technical experience or additional technical certifications may substitute for degree\n

  • 8+ years of experience in C4I systems engineering and support\n
  • Expert knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX, networking protocols, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks\n
  • Familiarity with ISR platforms such as GALE and GCCS\n
  • Demonstrated experience with Air Force intelligence systems, multi-level security, and information warfare concepts\n

As a Systems Engineer supporting Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) A2 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate, you’ll be embedded within the Pacific Enterprise Support Center (PA ESC), serving as a trusted expert in sustaining, integrating, and advancing PACAF’s ISR capabilities. Based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawai’i, you’ll operate at the heart of a globally connected mission-supporting intelligence units from Alaska to Guam, Japan, and South Korea through both on-site and remote engagements. This is an opportunity to shape the systems that enable real-time awareness, decision advantage, and operational success across the Pacific theater.\n \n \nWhat You’ll Do\n \n \n \n

  • Design and enhance C4I system capabilities to meet evolving operational demands\n
  • Develop integration roadmaps and implementation plans aligned with mission priorities\n
  • Assess and optimize COTS/GOTS technologies for performance, resilience, and security\n
  • Deliver full-spectrum technical support, including installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting\n
  • Strengthen system reliability through proactive administration, monitoring, and repair\n
  • Lead modernization and upgrade efforts across C4I architectures in accordance with government directives\n
  • Track milestones and communicate progress to leadership and mission partners\n
