Job description

We are a global leader in the design and production of advanced precision-guided systems for aerospace and defense applications. To support our ambitious production and product development roadmap, we are reinforcing our technical team and seeking a talented engineer to develop their career as a Systems Engineer. You will work in a high-tech environment utilizing cutting-edge Model-Based Design methods to deliver operational advantage across land, sea, and air domains.

Mission As an Integration Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and validating the integration of complex subsystems onto customer platforms, ensuring strict compliance and optimal performance throughout deployment and operational phases. You will support multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging simulation and live demonstrations to define and enhance system performance., * Algorithm & Control Design: Develop and improve algorithms and Control Laws for Guidance, Navigation, Flight Controls, and Aiming Systems for new and existing products.

  • Performance Testing: Test and assess algorithm performance using analytical methods and Monte-Carlo simulations.
  • Verification & Validation (V&V): Execute V&V processes for algorithm updates and new designs.
  • Hardware Integration: Support the integration of algorithms into hardware via code generation and Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test rigs. Improve generated C code and collaborate with embedded teams.
  • Field Trials: Participate in live firing campaigns, process flight test data, and iterate on algorithms to achieve real-world accuracy.
  • Digital Twin Management: Maintain digital twins for current and in-development products to facilitate simulation and development.
  • Concept Modeling: Model the physical behaviors of new concepts and perform simulations to guide development decisions and address key technical challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with Bid & Project teams to prepare technical offers and respond to customer requests.
  • Work with Operations and Quality teams to optimize calibration procedures and resolve acceptance test deviations.
  • Support Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification (IVVQ) efforts focusing on system performance and reliability.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with the integration of ballistic prediction algorithms onto their platforms, facilitating technical exchanges to ensure optimal implementation and performance of embedded hardware.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee data collection and analysis during firing campaigns, iteratively tuning algorithms to meet and validate performance targets.
