Job description

Design, develop, and support ETL processes and data migration activities.
Work on data migration projects involving primarily Azure-based applications and COTS solutions.
Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
Develop and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration.
Support data integration and migration activities across different systems.
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Use Azure DevOps for development, source control, and project collaboration.
Perform data processing and automation using Unix Shell Scripting and text-processing tools where required.

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Data & Migration Developer with strong experience in ETL, data migration, SQL scripting, and Azure-based applications. The consultant will work on data migration activities, data quality, and integration within an Azure-focused environment., * 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.

Strong hands-on experience with ETL processes.
Proven experience with data migration concepts and projects.
Strong data and migration expertise, preferably within Azure-based environments.
Experience with COTS applications and associated data migration activities.
Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve data quality issues.
Strong SQL scripting skills.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Azure DevOps.
Experience working in an Agile way of working.
Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting and text-processing tools.
Experience with MySQL.
Experience with large-scale Azure data migration projects.
Experience integrating or migrating data between COTS applications.
Knowledge of additional Azure data and integration services.
