Job description

I am working on behalf of four different clients within mainland Europe with simular needs on a variety of sites including Frankfurt, Hamburg, Lisbon, Germany and Finland. We are recruiting for experienced Site Managers to oversee the successful delivery of ICT, Telecoms and Data Centre infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a strong background in fibre optic and enterprise ICT/Telecoms installations to join a growing and dynamic organisation.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of site-based activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the key interface between site teams, subcontractors and client representatives while maintaining full control of site operations.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading all day-to-day site activities across ICT, Telecoms, fibre optic and ELV infrastructure projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour to ensure works are delivered efficiently and in line with project programmes.

You will manage resource allocation, monitor progress against programme, oversee quality standards and ensure health and safety compliance at all times. Working closely with client delivery teams, you will act as the primary site-level point of contact, ensuring clear communication and successful project execution.

The role also includes maintaining accurate site records, conducting site inspections, resolving operational challenges and supporting the wider project team to achieve successful project handovers.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience in a Site Manager or Project Leadership position within ICT/Telecoms infrastructure, Data Centre construction or a similar technical environment. You will have proven experience delivering fibre optic, enterprise ICT/Telecoms infrastructure or other ELV projects and be confident managing subcontractors on live sites.

You will possess strong knowledge of project delivery, including budget management, labour planning, lookahead scheduling, quality management and site coordination. Experience acting as the site-level interface between operational teams and clients is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain programme delivery.

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills are required, together with a proactive and solutions-focused approach., Applicants should hold a valid SMSTS qualification, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work certification. A full Driving Licence is also required.

Benefits & conditions

This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile ICT, Telecoms and Data Centre projects within a growing organisation. Alongside a competitive salary and benefits package, the successful candidate will benefit from ongoing professional development, genuine career progression opportunities and the chance to join a collaborative and supportive team.

If you have the relevant ICT, Telecoms or Data Centre infrastructure experience and are looking for your next challenge in site management, we would be delighted to hear from you. Apply today for a confidential discussion.
