Waste Data Officer

Our client is looking for a Waste Data Officer for a Hybrid role- Minimum 2 office days per week

Responsible for delivering administrative support and assistance to the Domestic Waste Team, and ensuring service data compliance. Oversee and coordinate a designated team of Waste Support Assistants, ensuring effective operations and adherence to Council policy and legislation.

Developing and maintaining management systems for reporting performance ensures compliance with statutory requirements, including Waste Data Flow and Environment Agency submissions.

• carrying out all duties and responsibilities with due regard to Code of Conduct, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and the City Council’s Workforce Diversity and Inclusion Policies. Duties which include processing of any personal data must be undertaken within the corporate data protection guidelines
• attending any training and undertaking any development activities that are identified as mandatory/beneficial to their role

• any other duties and responsibilities within the range of the salary grade

• Previous experience within Domestic or Commercial Waste Operations
• Knowledge of waste management, recycling services and relevant legislation
• Experience supporting service performance, compliance or operational reporting functions
• Excel experience and confidence is essential

Must hold Full UK Driving Licence, access to their own vehicle

£14.82 per hour PAYE working 30 hours per week (flexible across 4 or 5 days) Contract: Temporary - 3 months with potential to extend
