Basingstoke (Onsite)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Architect to join a high-profile government programme delivering critical IT services within a secure enterprise environment.Working on a major MOD project, you’ll be responsible for designing and governing scalable, secure, and resilient service architectures that support complex business and technical requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions while working alongside senior technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop end-to-end service architectures aligned with business objectives.Define service design standards, governance, and architectural best practices.Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing IT services.Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver architectural solutions.Evaluate and recommend

technologies, platforms, and tools that support long-term service strategy.Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Provide technical leadership throughout the service lifecycle.Review and enhance existing services to improve performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Service Architect within large, complex enterprise environments.Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, and service integration.Experience designing secure, highly available, and scalable IT services.Excellent knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and architecture frameworks including TOGAF.Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience working within secure or government environments is highly desirable.Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, AWS, or Azure are advantageous.What’s on Offer?700-740 per dayOutside IR35Opportunity to work on a
