Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to enhance, maintain, and refactor a mission-critical public sector enterprise application (eXPRS)., * Resolve application defects, complete backlog refactoring, and implement UI/performance enhancements in 2-week sprint cycles.

  • Collaborate closely with Technical Architects, Product Owners, and Scrum teams.
  • Document technical specifications and transition knowledge to ongoing team members.

Requirements

  • Core Stack (10+ Years Required): Java, J2EE, IBM DB2 UDB, Eclipse IDE
  • Application Expertise: 1-3 years direct experience with eXPRS application development
  • Domain Experience: Prior State Government / Public Sector tech experience within the last 5 years
  • Methodologies & Tools: Agile/Scrum, Azure DevOps (ADOS) backlog management, Git, microservices/batch processing refactoring, * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field.
