Job description
The IT Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Information Technology department to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient technology systems across the organization. This role oversees infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor management, and IT support services while developing and leading the IT team. The IT Manager ensures technology supports business operations, regulatory compliance, and long-term company growth. This position works cross-functionally with Executive Leadership and department leaders to align technology initiatives with operational needs., * Oversee daily IT operations including helpdesk support, infrastructure management, and system performance monitoring.
- Lead and manage the IT team, including setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure system reliability, uptime, and business continuity across all locations.
- Maintain and strengthen cybersecurity protocols, including access controls, endpoint protection, and monitoring systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable state and federal data security requirements.
- Manage IT vendors, service agreements, and technology contracts.
- Oversee IT budget planning, cost control, and technology forecasting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and assets.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate and implement technology improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Present technology updates, risks, and strategic initiatives to Executive Leadership.
- Establish and monitor IT service level expectations to ensure responsive internal support.
- Other relevant duties assigned by management, as needed.To be successful in this role:

- Communicate Clearly: Translate technical information into clear, practical guidance for non-technical leaders and staff.
- Manage Risk Proactively: Identify system vulnerabilities, compliance risks, and operational gaps before they impact the organization.
- Develop Your Team: Build a culture of service, responsiveness, and continuous improvement within the IT department.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team development?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Experience supporting multi-location environments preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud systems, and network infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of HIPAA and data security best practices.
- Experience coordinating with IT vendors and service providers.
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills., * Bachelor’s (Preferred)
