SAP Authorization Consultant

We are looking for a Senior SAP Authorization Consultant to help our clients optimize their security and compliance within SAP S/4HANA On-Premise and Cloud (Public and Private) environments. You will be responsible for guiding customers in setting up and maintaining their authorization concepts while ensuring audit and licensing compliance.

Do you have experience in SSO?, * Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA authorizations, across On-Premise, Private Cloud, and Public Cloud environments.

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) authorizations, including role and access management across cloud services.

• Solid understanding of cloud-based identity and access management concepts (e.g. IAS/IPS, federated identity, single sign-on).

• Experience with audit preparations, compliance and analysis of EWA-reports.

• Deep knowledge of role design, build, and maintenance, aligned with audit, security, and licensing requirements.

• Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex authorization issues across hybrid SAP landscapes.

• Experience with Fiori authorization concepts (catalogs, groups, spaces/pages) and end-user role design

• Ability to explain complex authorization concepts clearly to customers and guide them in setting up their own authorization framework.

• Familiarity with SAP security best practices in cloud environments, including segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance frameworks.

• Nice to have: knowledge of SAP HANA Database authorizations, network/security layers, or DevSecOps practices.

• Eagerness to stay up to date with SAP’s evolving authorization and cloud strategies and share insights with colleagues.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure that SAP S/4HANA authorization concepts meet all necessary security, audit, and licensing standards.

• Customer Guidance: Educate and support clients in designing and implementing their authorization strategies.

• Technical Expertise: Maintain and adjust authorization roles to ensure smooth operations and compliance.

• Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve authorization issues efficiently.

• Continuous Improvement: Keep up with SAP’s latest developments in authorization and security and implement best practices within client environments.
