Bring your project leadership experience to a dynamic IT Project Manager role supporting solution delivery from planning through execution, testing, cutover, and hyper-care. This opportunity offers the chance to guide cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and help drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across planning, execution, testing, cutover, and post-launch support activities.
- Create, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules, plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and external implementation partners to keep milestones and deliverables on track.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward.
- Monitor project progress closely and escalate concerns in a timely manner when needed.
- Communicate status updates, risks, and issues to leadership and key stakeholders on a regular cadence.
- Support adherence to internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate quality reviews and lessons learned to improve future delivery practices.
- Own schedule and budget commitments while maintaining accountability for delivery outcomes.
- Promote collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement across project teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of IT project management experience.
- Hands-on experience building and managing project schedules, plans, and financial tracking.
- Experience working in both waterfall and agile environments, with waterfall as the primary delivery approach.
- Background supporting application or SDLC-focused initiatives rather than infrastructure-only projects.
- Experience with data-related projects.
- Completed 4-year degree.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present project information clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in matrixed team environments and manage competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and follow-through.
Preferred Skills
- PMP certification.
- Scrum Master experience.
- Experience in a large, complex organization.
- Knowledge of Project and Portfolio Management methods and reporting or dashboard tools.
- Background in change management and risk management.
- Experience embedding project governance and delivery best practices within an organization.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a proactive mindset.
