Job description

Overview: Seeking a Firmware Engineer to join the Reality Labs Silicon Validation team. This role focuses on validating highperformance silicon, ensuring quality delivery, and supporting firmware/software development across hardware and system platforms., * Develop, test, and validate firmware for silicon and ECU systems.

  • Perform benchlevel characterization and troubleshooting at IC and PCBA levels.
  • Write automation scripts and instrumentation drivers in Python to accelerate validation.
  • Collaborate with design and firmware teams to provide feedback on testability.
  • Coordinate database development, modify existing systems, and manage project scope.
  • Document verification results and support system changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and debugging practices.
  • Handson experience with lab instrumentation and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Python and database management systems.
  • Excellent communication, problemsolving, and time management skills.
