Job description

Seeking a Trading Application Support professional to analyze, develop, implement, and support systems related to IRD IT and Securitization, including interfaces with other systems, system users, and all aspects of system operation. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide application support and knowledge for assigned systems and all projects related to these systems Provide after-office support for nightly batch processes and miscellaneous processes during non-business hours Provide functional and technical solutions for user or management requests Design and develop effective and efficient systems applied to specific user problems and activities Conduct feasibility studies, systems design, and make recommendations on appropriate actions Support Front Office, Back Office, Middle Office, and Risk users during daily activities Provide input to general architecture including hardware, network, tools, and software Provide support for BCP activities Analyze and coordinate with development IT team based in Paris Gather new requirements from business users and stakeholders Follow up on special requests from management Develop relationships with business teams including FO, MO/Risk, and BO Manage relationships with third parties and assist team members as needed, At BBH, Partnership is more than a form of ownership-it’s our approach to business and relationships. Requirements

Finastra Summit, ION, and/or Orchestrade or other electronic trading application knowledge Unix Shell scripting and knowledge of UNIX tools such as awk and sed Strong SQL experience with Sybase DBMS and Stored Procedures Knowledge of Fixed Income and FX products including CDs, CPs, Bonds, Repo, Futures, Interest Rate Swaps, FX Spot, FX Forwards, FX Swaps, and/or Derivatives Microsoft Excel skills Knowledge of financial markets Perl programming experience Python experience Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) knowledge Knowledge of electronic markets Strong application support experience within trading environments Experience supporting IRD IT and Securitization systems Experience coordinating with offshore or global IT development teams Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience supporting trading environments across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and Risk teams Education: 6-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Finance
