ION Treasury Trading Application Support Engineer

Summary: To support electronic trading systems related to Treasury including interfaces to other systems, the systems’ users and all aspects related to the systems’ operation.

• ION trading platform experience required.
• Provide Day to day technical and functional support of the In house FIX Trading Gateways and ION Agency trading and processing applications to internal users of the investment banks (Traders, QA, technical teams, etc.)
• Hands on experience with ION MMI,ECN, and Fix Protocol, Strong Treasury and Bonds support experience
• Unix Shell scripting and knowledge of UNIX tools such as awk, sed
• SQL -Sybase DBMS and Stored Procedures
• Knowledge of Bonds: inflationary bonds, new bond issuance, treasury instruments (all types of bonds) in general and have a strong knowledge of how they trade.
• Microsoft Excel skills -Knowledge of financial markets
• Perl programming -Python -Visual Basic for Applications
• Knowledge of the electronic markets
