Job description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud & Platform Architect to design, architect, and lead the implementation of highly scalable, secure, reliable, and cloud-native enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture, Data Platforms, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, Kubernetes, Databricks, CI/CD, SRE, observability, and cloud security. The candidate will work closely with engineering, data, infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to define enterprise cloud strategies, modernize legacy environments, establish reusable platform capabilities, and improve reliability, automation, governance, and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on architect who can translate business and technical requirements into scalable cloud solutions while establishing architecture standards, automation frameworks, security controls, and operational best practices., * Design and architect enterprise-scale AWS cloud platforms supporting data engineering, analytics, application, and business-critical workloads.

  • Define cloud architecture standards covering scalability, availability, security, performance, disaster recovery, monitoring, and cost optimization.
  • Architect and implement modern AWS data platforms, data lakes, and lakehouse environments using services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, and EKS.
  • Design and support Databricks and Apache Spark/PySpark platforms for large-scale batch and data-processing workloads.
  • Develop reusable infrastructure patterns using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Python/Bash automation.
  • Establish Infrastructure-as-Code standards, reusable Terraform modules, Git-based infrastructure management, and automated provisioning processes.
  • Design and implement enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and related DevOps technologies.
  • Integrate automated validation, quality gates, security checks, infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, and environment promotion into CI/CD workflows.
  • Architect and support Kubernetes and containerized platforms, including Amazon EKS, ECS, Docker, and Helm.
  • Establish platform engineering capabilities including reusable services, self-service infrastructure, standardized deployment patterns, and developer enablement.
  • Implement SRE practices focused on reliability, availability, scalability, incident management, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudTrail, and related tools.
  • Define and implement SLOs, SLAs, operational metrics, reliability dashboards, and platform health monitoring.
  • Establish cloud security architecture using IAM, RBAC, KMS, Secrets Manager, encryption, network security, least-privilege access, and security controls.
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure cloud platforms meet enterprise governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cloud modernization and migration initiatives, including migration from on-premises and other cloud environments to AWS.
  • Design highly available and disaster-recovery-ready architectures for mission-critical enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Support production operations, P1/P2 incidents, technical escalations, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Create architecture documentation, technical standards, operational runbooks, migration plans, and production-readiness processes.
  • Collaborate with application, data engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and enterprise architecture teams to establish consistent cloud engineering practices.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership on cloud architecture, DevOps, platform engineering, and data-platform modernization.
