Job description

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support quality engineering for Fiber and High-Speed Internet (HSI) broadband products. This role is responsible for validating end-to-end customer experiences including service eligibility, ordering, installation, activation, and account management. The ideal candidate brings strong automation expertise, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to proactively identify risks and drive quality initiatives from design through release. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable, high-quality customer experiences., Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI and API layers. Validate end-to-end broadband customer journeys and integrated systems. Execute test strategies, functional testing, regression testing, and defect management. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause analysis. Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual testing effort and improve release confidence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or SDET experience.
Experience with 3+ programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar.
Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks including Selenium, TestNG, Appium, Rest Assured, Postman, Cucumber, Sauce Labs, or comparable technologies. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MySQL or equivalent).
Experience with Agile development methodologies and modern testing practices including TDD and BDD.
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate: Strong automation-first mindset. Proven experience testing complex end-to-end customer workflows. Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple teams. Proactive in identifying risks and quality gaps early. Passionate about improving customer experience through high-quality software delivery.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with broadband, telecommunications, Fiber, or ISP products. Experience with service virtualization tools such as CA Service Virtualization. Experience testing complex, multi-tiered applications across web, mobile, and backend systems. Familiarity with issue tracking and Agile project management tools.
