Job description

LinTech Global is seeking a DevOps Engineer to implement, administer, and continuously improve the CI/CD pipeline supporting USAMRIID’s applications development team using Azure DevOps Server. This role owns the full lifecycle of pipeline design, build/release automation, and integration with the team’s SDLC delivery framework. The candidate will work closely with the Government Lead and development teams to ensure reliable, secure, and auditable software delivery in a DoD on-prem environment., * Recommend, resource, and establish CI/CD pipeline capability - assess current build/release processes, recommend tooling and pipeline architecture, and lead implementation from the ground up

  • Design, build, and maintain YAML and/or classic CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications/teams
  • Manage self-hosted build/release agents and agent pools, including capacity planning and troubleshooting
  • Implement branching strategies, build validation policies, and release gates
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot build failures and optimize pipeline performance
  • Support deployment and sprint management, including release scheduling, sprint ceremonies coordination, and alignment of deployment cadence with the program’s Gated Agile framework
  • Support ADO Kanban board configuration and reporting for sprint teams
  • Install, configure, and maintain Azure DevOps Server (project collections, application tier, and SQL Server data tier)
  • Administer IIS and Windows Server infrastructure supporting Azure DevOps Server, including application tier configuration, patching, and performance tuning
  • Build and maintain container images and pipelines, integrating containerized builds/deployments into the CI/CD workflow where applicable
  • Administer Azure Artifacts (or equivalent) for package/dependency management
  • Integrate Azure DevOps Server with on-prem Active Directory for authentication and RBAC
  • Maintain STIG compliance and security hardening for the Azure DevOps Server environment
  • Develop and maintain SOPs/runbooks for pipeline operations, server recovery, and agent management
  • Support change control processes in coordination with the Government Lead

Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) - including standing up a pipeline from scratch, with tooling recommendations and resourcing
  • Experience with Git-based source control and branching strategies (trunk-based, GitFlow, or similar)
  • Strong PowerShell and/or Bash scripting skills
  • Experience supporting SDLC, deployment, and sprint management in hybrid Agile-Waterfall delivery environment

Requirements to Start:

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance is Required to Start
  • An IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) is Required to Start
