Job description

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable technology operations. This role administers key platforms including Jira, Google Workspace, Okta, and VPN solutions while providing technical support, strengthening security, and collaborating across departments to deliver an exceptional employee technology experience., * Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot IT systems, including endpoints, identity platforms, and SaaS applications

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VPN solutions to provide secure remote access
  • Administer and customize Jira workflows, automations, user permissions, and integrations
  • Manage Google Workspace administration, including user lifecycle management and security settings
  • Support identity and access management through Okta and related provisioning workflows
  • Assist with implementing security controls and supporting compliance initiatives
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and access-related issues
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
  • Collaborate with Security, People Operations, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams on IT initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT systems administration or a related role
  • Hands-on experience administering and customizing Jira
  • Proven experience managing Google Workspace environments
  • Experience with Okta identity and access management
  • Experience administering Jamf Pro for macOS device management
  • Familiarity with macOS, Windows, and/or Linux environments
  • Basic scripting or automation experience is a plus
  • Experience with Okta Workflows (Okta Flow) for SaaS lifecycle automation is preferred
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Certifications:

  • Google Workspace Administrator
  • Okta Certified Professional
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Jamf Certified Associate or higher

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • $72,250-$106,250 USD annually
