Low-code Devsecops

Job description

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution., Summary: Leads Appian developer driving low-code design, development, modernization, and sustainment to enhance contract writing and related business processes., * Lead Appian solution design and development activities

Translate business requirements into scalable low-code solutions
Guide modernization of legacy capabilities into Appian
Coordinate with architects, testers, and DevSecOps personnel to support successful delivery and sustainment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
Appian Senior Developer certification (L3)
10 years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years of hands-on Appian development
Deep experience designing, configuring, and delivering Appian applications in enterprise environments
Ability to translate epics, features, and user stories into scalable workflows, interfaces, process models, and integrations
Knowledge of workflow automation, testing support, release coordination, and production sustainment
Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing Appian best practices
Experience supporting cloud environments, with knowledge of common platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Army or DoD enterprise systems, Appian-first design approaches, data architecture, and long-range modernization planning
Experience modernizing legacy capabilities in Appian, supporting federal acquisition or contract writing workflows, and using an Appian-first approach across shared IL5/IL6 codebases is highly desired
CompTia Sec+ certification
