Principal Embedded/Firmware Software Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Principal Embedded/Firmware Software Engineer with at least 10+ years of applied (real-world) experience in the medical device domain (Class II or Class III) for a full-time (onsite) opportunity in the Belmont, MA area. Seeking someone with strong C programming, RTOS, low-level (bare metal/microcontrollers), documentation, software requirements, and system integration/verification/testing! Targeting US citizens and Green Card/Permanent Residents, as sponsorship is unavailable. Qualified applicants MUST possess extensive experience in the following areas:

• C
• Real-Time programming (RTOS)
• Low level - bare metal / microcontrollers
• Documentation
• Software requirements
• Risk analysis
• System integration / verification / testing
• Troubleshooting at system level (hardware/mechanical & electrical issues) It’s a full-time role.
