The Opportunity: CRM & Integrations AdministratorCaptivate is seeking a CRM & Integrations Administrator to join our dynamic Technology team working out of our outstanding Lowell, MA office, three days a week. This role will serve as a key technical resource contributing to the technical management, maintenance, and enhancement of Captivate’s customer relationship management (CRM) systems. This role works in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations business system owners to implement Captivate’s enterprise CRM strategy. The CRM & Integrations Administrator ensures that our CRM environment runs efficiently, supports end-to-end business operations, and delivers accurate, actionable data to drive sales and operational success. This position works closely with cross-functional partners across Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver new solutions, resolve system challenges, and expand automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or other major CRM packages, advanced Microsoft SQL database development skills, and business know-how on CRM use cases in Sales and Customer management and thus become a highly valued CRM Technical Administrator. Since the immediate focus will be on planning and implementing the replacement of legacy CRM components, this role is critical in designing and implementing our future enterprise-wide CRM strategy. This is a highly collaborative, growth-oriented opportunity for someone passionate about leveraging technology to connect data, systems, and people. Salary Range: $95,000 to $105,000 annually What You’ll Do:
- Analyze current SFDC and legacy CRM (Pivotal SFA) environment, work with Sales Management, Technology Management, and Sales System Administration peers to plan and implement an optimized CRM environment at Captivate.
- Serve in a key technical leadership role in the implementation of the to-be-selected new CRM systems and any associated components to replace the legacy Pivotal SFA CRM, including business process improvements, technical integrations (API and data exchange), and MS SQL Database modifications.
- Develop, test, and deploy system enhancements such as workflows, dashboards, forms, and automation rules that simplify user experience and improve reporting accuracy.
- Partner with Engineering and IT to design and support bidirectional integrations between SFDC and NetSuite using MuleSoft and related integration technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by diagnosing root causes, managing error logs, and ensuring system stability across all connected applications.
- Oversee data imports, exports, and synchronization between CRM, ERP, and marketing systems, ensuring clean and consistent datasets across all business units.
- Hands-on management of dedicated MS SQL Databases used in the SFDC, NetSuite, and Captivate proprietary systems environment.
- Support software version updates, patches, and upgrades, coordinating testing and deployment with internal development and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, process maps, and best practices to ensure knowledge continuity and compliance.
- Provide user training and ongoing support to maximize adoption and ensure all teams are leveraging CRM tools effectively.

- SFDC runs seamlessly and with high availability for the complex system and data integration across the Captivate portfolio of commercial and proprietary systems.
- The migration from Legacy CRM systems to strategically selected new CRM systems and any associated internally developed components is complete.
- Data accuracy and accessibility improve, enabling Sales, Marketing, and Operations to make faster, smarter, and more coordinated business decisions.
- Integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite, and MuleSoft operate efficiently and support real-time visibility into customer and revenue activity.
- End users are confident and self-sufficient, leveraging the CRM tools you’ve configured and trained them on to improve productivity and collaboration.
- You anticipate system needs, identifying and implementing enhancements before issues arise, and helping the team transition toward future CRM solutions.
- You are seen as a bridge between technology and business, helping translate complex data and system workflows into simple, actionable outcomes that advance Captivate’s strategic priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a CRM Administrator or similar technical role for a complex SFDC implementation.
- 3+ years of experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to design and implement automation and reporting solutions.
- 2+ years supporting system integrations between CRM, ERP, and Sales Automation tools. Experience with SFDC REST API, middleware PaaS such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar, SFDC Connect, and AppExchange connectors.
- 2+ years developing, administering, and running MS SQL Server queries, custom reports, and databases in the context of CRM and business management systems.
- 2+ years working with JavaScript for scripting or customization.
- 1+ year of experience using MuleSoft for integration workflows.
- Strong understanding of CRM data models, workflows, and automation processes.
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Solid understanding of sales processes and automation best practices.
- Knowledge of Avolin Pivotal Salesforce Automation a plus.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience with preferably Salesforce or other modern CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot, Zoho).
- Familiarity with Tableau or similar reporting/visualization tools.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data migration frameworks.
- Strong working experience with MS SQL databases, query development, report development, and overall database administration as related to CRM systems applications.
- Experience with low-code or automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier).
- General working knowledge of AWS, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence.
